OnePlus may have started polishing its upcoming flagship phone to launch soon and it seems we won’t have to wait long to get our eyes on it. The company decided to reveal its OnePlus 11 next month.
The Chinese tech giant is all set to launch its 2023 flagship phone. According to the news via @OnePlus on Twitter, OnePlus 11 5G w/ Cloud 11 is to arrive at the launch event on February 7.
Before last year, OnePlus do announce its handset sometime in March or April which certainly changed to January-February as last year’s OnePlus 10 Pro was launched back in January 2022, and slight change this year.
Rumors suggest that the company will only reveal a single phone this time around, instead of the usual approach of having two models basically following last year’s process.
The Chinese firm may also launch OnePlus 11T series phone later this year sometime in August 2023, a kind of budget-friendly flagship killer specifications phone. Moreover, this time no ‘Pro model’ to launch.
Leakers have already shown off the next-generation OnePlus phones through unofficial renders. However, the company also revealed the new design via its Twitter account recently.
The upcoming OnePlus phone may have a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and it seems like the company may also use Hasselblad cameras. While the device may be equipped with a snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
Moreover, the smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh heavy battery with 100W fast charging. Unfortunately, the phone may not be up to wireless charging. The upcoming OnePlus smartphone will release with 2 color options – glossy green and matt black.
OnePlus 11 is to launch with pre-installed Android 13 based on OxygenOS 13 version and the company promised to get 3 years of major OS updates and 4 years of security updates for the device as well.
