Oppo Android 13 (ColorOS 13) Update: Eligible devices, release date, features & more

The Android 13 has suddenly become the talk of the town since OEMs have released their first-ever developer preview for the eligible devices. The earliest version of Android 13 has now arrived for the non-Google OEMs.

The BBK-owned Oppo has also made available, the first developer preview for its most eligible Oppo Find X5 Pro. Although Oppo hasn’t been at the top when it comes to Android OS rollout, the company has improved significantly in the last few years. But looking at the competition from companies such as Samsung, Xiaomi, and Realme, there’s still a long way to go.

However, talking about the OS specifically, the ColorOS itself has gained many features since it was first introduced. In fact, this operating system is also a part of the OnePlus devices sold in China. While the ColorOS 12 is already loaded with a bulk of features, we expect the ColorOS 13 to bring a bunch more.

Since Oppo has started its preparation for the Android 13-based ColorOS 13, more news, rumors, and leaks will arrive in the coming days for this OS. And we will keep tabs on every latest development for the upcoming OS. So make sure you bookmark this page to get the latest insights.

    • The ColorOS 13 eligible device list given below is not officially confirmed and subject to change in future.

    ColorOS 13 release date

The ColorOS 13 release date depends on Google’s Android 13 stable release. As soon as Google releases the stable version for Pixel phones, other OEMs start pushing the beta/stable versions for their eligible devices.

The same goes with Oppo as well and it’s quite too early to say when exactly the company will start the rollout. However, looking at the official Android 13 roadmap and given the last year’s ColorOS 12 release factor, we can speculate that the new OS should land around September.

This is just speculation based on the early releases. And we will keep tabs on the latest news regarding the release date in this particular section, so stay tuned.

    Release date — September [Expected]

While Google has made several upgrades to the Android 13 and there will be more coming as the company releases beta updates. However, Oppo hasn’t yet revealed any features of ColorOS 13, so we can’t speculate any, but more or less they will be based on Android 13.

As soon as any leak, rumor, or official information comes to our notice regarding ColorOS 13 features, we will update this section.
