Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro started getting their first software update in the US on the Verizon network. The update resolves an issue where the user couldn’t receive Wireless Emergency Alert messages if the message contained more than 255 characters.

Samsung has started rolling out another software update for the Galaxy Watch 5/Pro in the US on the Verizon network with version R905USQU1AVH6 (40mm) / R915USQU1AVH6 (44mm) for the Galaxy Watch 5 and R925USQU1AVH6 (45mm) for the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The update only provides performance improvements for the watches.
