Google has already released a Play Store redesign for Galaxy Watch 5/Pro last month at Samsung’s Unpacked event with their launch. As announced via the latest September 2022 Google Play System update. The new upgrade for WearOS Play Store started rolling out with its fresh look.

The new look for Google Play Store with the search button in a small rounded panel. Now you can explore all three app suggestions in WearOS. The two options are  ‘Recommended for you’ and ‘Now trending’ are then followed by large cards for Watch faces.

This build v31.2.10-26 of redesigned Google Play for Wear OS is currently going live for smartwatches. Yet, the revamp UI was rolled out via a server-side update, and it’s not widely available to most users at this moment.

When users install an app on their Wear OS device that requires a companion app, their mobile device will automatically install the companion app.

The latest WearOS update design is slightly heavy with text and size. The company should move more apps directly to the main feed on Watches to encourage users to download more applications or Watch pieces of stuff.

The watches now have different sections including Music streaming, essential watch apps, and healthy mind & body with all the Material You design. The latest section allows users to browse and install applications from their other smart devices.
