    Samsung Galaxy S22 One UI 4.1.1 update W/ September 2022 security patch

    Samsung started the One UI 4.1.1 update rolling out for its smartphones and tablets. Recently, the company released the same One UI update for the Galaxy Tab S8 series. Now, the carrier-unlocked Galaxy S22 trio joins the One UI 4.1.1 party.

    The latest software update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra come with a firmware version S90xUSQU2AVHB. The OTA update also brings the September 2022 security patch with known bug fixes and improved overall system stability.

    The One UI 4.1.1 includes an improved smart view feature for the Galaxy S22 with a full screen, Picture-in-Picture, and more features, the capability to rename files shared via private sharing, and more. The One UI 4.1.1 is based on Android 12.

    The update is said to be live in the US on the Verizon, Xinifty Mobile, and Comcast networks currently. The update will soon expand to other markets in a week or two.

    If you own a Galaxy S22 in the US then you might receive a notification if not then check it manually by navigating Settings > Software update > Download and install.
