Oppo has already started the ColorOS 13 beta testing for its smartphones. Now, here the company has started the ColorOS 13 Alpha testing based on Android 13 for the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G phone. The testing program is now live for only 100 Indian users currently.

The first ColorOS 13 Alpha testing will allow the device to participate typically to look for major bugs and feature flaws that will stop the device from performing its internal functions.

After updating to the latest Alpha testing, the operating system will do several actions to optimize your device automatically. It might lead to your device heating, lagging, and fast battery draining.

How to Apply for ColorOS 13 Alpha testing:

  • Navigate Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap icon on the top right> Trial versions > Alpha > Fill in your information > Apply now.
  • Then, the company wants 3 days after the application success, then check for update > Download now.

What’s ColorOS 13 Alpha testing Plan?

For those who aren’t aware of the Alpha testing plan, the Alpha testing is the initial phase of validating whether a new device will perform as expected or not. The testing plan is carried out early in the development process by the internal item and is followed up with beta tests, in which the sampling of the intended audience actually tries the product out.

Make sure that one developer phase must be completed before the next one begin.
