Samsung’s latest One UI 5.0 beta testing has been started for the Galaxy S22. The beta version based on Android is initially kicking off in Germany for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The latest One UI 5.0 beta version based on Android 13 will allow Galaxy S22 users to experience the all-new One UI-based Android 13 update before the stable release. It is worth mentioning that the beta build may include some bugs or issues, so it is not recommended for primary phones.
Forthcoming Android 13-based ColorOS 13 includes more Material You color schemes and ‘cinematic’ wallpapers, Tap-to-transfer, Opt-in notifications, QR code scanner, ‘Panlingual’ per-app language settings for apps, Battery measures, UWB support, Support for Bluetooth Low-Energy Audio, Home button Assistant toggle and more.
The Galaxy S22 users who want to try out the latest One UI 5 and Android 13 beta versions can sign up for the beta program from the Samsung Member app manually. Apart from the Galaxy S22, the South Korean tech giant will soon start the One UI 5 beta testing for several other flagships, including Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Flip3 & Fold3.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 trio back in March this year with Android 12-based One UI 4.1 pre-installed. The devices in this series will get four years of major updates and five years of security updates in the future.
