Samsung is gradually rolling out the July 2022 security patch for its smartphones tablets and foldable. Now, the company has started kicking off the same software update for the Galaxy Note 20 series.
The Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G (SM-N986U) started receiving a new software update in some of the European countries, users can identify the latest firmware with version N981BXXS4FVG1.
The latest software update brings July 2022 security patch with dozens of vulnerabilities fixes and the overall stability has been improved of your Galaxy Note 20 smartphone.
If you own a Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Romania, then you might receive a notification, if not then check it manually by navigating Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 series back in the second half of 2020. These devices in this series come with One UI 2.5 based on Android 10 out of the box. These phones received the One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 earlier last year and are currently running One UI 4.1 based on Android 12.
