Samsung Galaxy S22 Android 13 (One UI 5.0) Update Tracker: Release date, beta/stable info & more

Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 series with the latest Android 12 based on the One UI 4.1 update back in February 2022. The company has promised 4 years of major updates and 5 years of security patches for these phones.

Early this year, Google’s Android 13 developer preview went live for Pixel devices, however, Samsung is yet to release any DP or beta based on the One UI 5.0 version for its smartphones. Moreover, according to a report, the company is planning to kick off the upcoming Android 13 beta version sometime in July this year.

If we go by Samsung’s last year’s trend, the Koren tech giant will likely start releasing the upcoming Android versions for its smartphones, including the Galaxy S22 series, by the end of this year or early next year in the stable form. And the Galaxy S22 trio will be the first to grab the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update.

On other hand, the South Korean firm giant might also be preparing for the One UI 4.1.1 update for limited Galaxy phones. The update is expected to be rollout sometime with Galaxy Z Flip4 & Fold4 launch.
