Verizon Samsung Galaxy S22 getting June 2022 security update in the US

Samsung already kicked off the June 2022 security update for the Galaxy S22 series in the US early this month. Now, the company has started releasing another software update for smartphones that brings camera improvements and boosts the performance of your device.

The update is being kicked off on the Verizon network in the US. The OTA (Over-The-Air) update for the phones comes with the firmware S901USQU2AVF1, S901USQU2AVF1, and S908USQU2AVF1 versions respectively.

The latest June 2022 update also includes the 60 vulnerabilities fixes related to privacy and security with improved overall system stability for the Galaxy S22 lineup.

If you own a Galaxy S22 in the US then you might receive a notification, if not then check it manually by navigating Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 trio back in March this year with Android 12-based One UI 4.1 pre-installed. The devices in this series will get four years of major updates and five years of security updates in the future.
