    Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy A72 receives June 2022 security update

    Samsung already started rolling out the June 2022 security patch for its smartphones and tablets. Now, the company has started rolling out the same software update for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy A72 phones.

    The latest software update for the Galaxy A72 and Galaxy S20 comes with firmware versions A725FXXU4BVE3, and G98xxXXSEFVE6 respectively. The OTA brings the June 2022 security update with 72 vulnerabilities fixes and improves system stabilities.

    The June 2022 security update brings fixes from Google for 39 high-priority vulnerabilities and 1 moderate-priority vulnerability fixes and along with 47 Google bulletins, Samsung released 25 vulnerabilities found in its smartphones and tablets. Read more

    The update is said to be live in Switzerland and other European countries for the Galaxy S20 and for the Galaxy A72 in Asia at the moment and will see a wider rollout soon. The update is expected to reach more devices soon.

    Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 back in January 2020 with an Android 10-based One UI 2.5 update, currently, the smartphones in this series running the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update
