How to rollback from Android 13 beta 1 to Android 12 in realme GT 2 Pro

Realme recently released the Android 13 developer preview for its latest realme GT 2 Pro model. The latest build bring bunch of features and known issues.

The users of this smartphone who are currently testing the beta version might find the bug or issues like some applications may not work properly or be fully functional, the system may have some stability issues, some system functions are not available, part of the interface display may look less than desirable and more.

If you encounter any of these or other issues, then you can downgrade to the stable Android 12 version, and you can also respond to the company by providing feedback on your issue. To downgrade from Android 13 beta to Android 12 in realme GT 2 Pro, follow these steps:

  • Transfer the downloaded firmware to the phone storage
  • Turn on developer mode
  • Go to Settings > Software Update > Settings in the upper right corner > Manually select the installation package
  • Select the downloaded firmware package, click install after loading
  • After the verification is completed, the system will be restarted and updated

Before proceeding with the rollback make sure to back-up your data from your phone by navigating Settings > Additional Settings > Back Up and Reset > Backup & Restore, and then select the data to back up and keep the battery level over 30%, and do not turn off your phone during the rollback process.
