Samsungis now shipping theMay 2022 Android security patch to the Galaxy S10 devices. As usual, Samsung rolled out this update earlier than anyone — even Google itself.
The May 2022 security update for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10+ 5G has begun landing as firmware version G97xFXXUFHVE1, and G977BXXUCHVE1, per SamMobile. The update brings May 2022 security update with dozens of vulnerabilities fixes and improves system stabilities.
The update is being rolled out in Switzerland at the moment, Samsung’s May 2022 update should arrive for other flagships and mid-rangers in more regions in the coming weeks.
If you have not received the update yet, you can manually check on your Galaxy handsets by heading to Settings > Software update. Users also have the option to grab the new release directly from Samsung’s Firmware Update Server (FUS) and flash it manually on their Galaxy device.
Samsung launched Galaxy S10 5G back in January 2020 with Android 10 pre-installed, last year company released One UI 3.1.1 based Android 11 update in the US. Now, the smartphone is running One UI 4.1 based Android 12 update.
