    Samsung Galaxy S22 getting May 2022 security update

    Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S22 trio. The update appears to be rolling out in India at a moment. Moreover, the OTA will expand to other markets in a week or two. The update is expected to reach more devices soon.

    The latest software update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant comes with a firmware version S90xEXXS2AVDD. This update is 663 MB in size, so make sure that your smartphone is well connected with a stable Wi-Fi connection and battery is above 50%.

    According to the official changelog provided by Samsung, the firmware brings the May 2022 security patch with dozens of vulnerabilities fixes and Overall stability of your device has been improved.

    If you own Samsung Galaxy S22 in India then you might receive a notification, if not then check it manually by navigating Settings > Software update > Download and install.

    Samsung launched Galaxy S22 series early this month with the latest Android 12 based on One UI 4.1 version, According to Samsung’s latest policy, the smartphone will get 4 years of majors OS updates in the future.
