POCO X3 Pro picks up MIUI 13 update W/ April 2022 security patch
Xiaomi has started rolling out a new software update for the POCO X3 Pro smartphone. The update appears to be rolling out globally at a moment. The latest custom skin comes with a firmware version V188.8.131.52.SJUMIXM.
The latest MIUI 13 update also brings the April 2022 security patch with known bugs fixes and improves system stability. Following are the new changelog:
Updated Android Security Patch to April 2022. Increased system security
In terms of new features, not much is to be expected with the update. Users have already reported that MIUI 13 gives a miss to most of the goodies that the Chinese version of the update comes with. The only new bits appear to be a collection of new wallpapers and some layout improvements to the notification panel.
Do keep in mind that the update is currently a Mi Pilot Tester-exclusive, so you’ll not be getting it as of now unless you’re part of the testing program. Still, it should be rolled out widely soon enough since pilot builds are a prelude to stable releases.
The MIUI update is rolling out in stages, so it may take a while to reach all POC X3 Pro devices. In addition, users can also check the MIUI 13 update in Phone Settings > About Phone > System Updates. The update is expected to reach more devices soon.
