    [US] Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series gets April 2022 security update

    Samsung already started releasing April 2022 security patch for its smartphones and tablets. Now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series getting the April 2022 security update in the US on the Verizon network.

    As per the changelog, it updates the security patch level to April 2022. As detailed by the Android bulletin website, it fixes 88  vulnerabilities related to privacy & security and improves system stabilities.

    The April 2022 security update for these smartphones is being pushed in batches. Hence, it will take a few days to reach every user. Also, we expect Samsung to extend the availability of the update to more regions in the near future.

    Samsung Galaxy Note 10

    The following are the latest firmware versions for the April 2022 security update:

    • N970USQS7HVCD (Galaxy Note 10)
    • N975USQS7HVCD (Galaxy Note 10+)
    • N976VVRS7HVCD (Galaxy Note 10+ 5G)

    If you have not received the update yet, you can manually check for the update on your Samsung Galaxy handsets by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

    Users also have the option to grab the new release directly from Samsung’s Firmware Update Server (FUS) and flash it manually on their Galaxy device.

    Samsung launched Galaxy Note 10 series back in January 2020 with Android 10 based on One UI 2.5 update, early last year company kicked off One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 for these smartphones. Currently these devices are running on Android 12 based on One UI 4.1 update.
