POCO F2 Pro, POCO F3 receives stable MIUI 13 (Android 12) update

Xiaomi started rolling out a stable MIUI 13 update for its devices. Yesterday, the company revealed MIUI 13 third batch rollout date for Redmi & Mi devices only. Although POCO wasn’t mentioned there yet the company may soon start its MIUI 13 rollout for its third batch.

The latest MIUI based on the Android 12 update comes with a firmware version V13.0.2.0.SJKEUXM for POCO F2 Pro and V13.0.1.0.SKHIDXM for POCO F3 smartphone. The update also brings the February & March 2022 security patch with known bugs fixes and improves system stabilities.

The latest custom skin comes with a download size of 3.5GB. The update is said to be live in Europe and for the global variant for POCO F2 Pro and in Indonesia for POCO F3 at the moment and will see a wider rollout soon.

In terms of new features, not much is to be expected with the update. Users have already reported that MIUI 13 gives a miss to most of the goodies that the Chinese version of the update comes with. The only new upgrade appear to be a collection of new wallpapers and some layout improvements to the notification panel.

Do keep in mind that the update is currently a Mi Pilot Tester-exclusive, so you’ll not be getting it as of now unless you’re part of the testing program. Still, it should be rolled out widely soon enough since pilot builds are a prelude to stable releases.

OTA update is rolling out in stages, so it may take a while to reach all POCO F2 Pro, POCO F3 devices. In addition, users can also check the MIUI 13 update in Phone Settings > About Phone > Check for update. The update is expected to reach more devices soon.
