    [US] Verizon Samsung Galaxy A42 5G getting One UI 4.1 update

    Samsung started releasing the One UI 4.1 update for its smartphones and tablets. Early today, Samsung Galaxy M31 received the same update in India. Now, the carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy A42 5G getting the One UI 4.1 update.

    The latest update for the Galaxy A42 5G comes with a firmware version A426USQU3CVC3, the update also includes the March 2022 security patch with 50 vulnerabilities fixes related to privacy and security and improves system stability.

    This software update introduces One UI 4.1, with new features including Live Sharing in Google Duo, RAM Plus, App Cast in Smart View, and Camera and Gallery enhancements. The latest Android security patch is also included in this update.

    The One UI 4.1 update is being rolling out in the US on Verizon network. As is usually the case, the latest custom skin will take a week or two to become more widely available.

    If you own a Galaxy A42 5G in the US then you might receive a notification if not then check it manually by opening Settings > Software update > Check for update.

    Samsung launched Galaxy A42 5G smartphone back in January 2021 with Android 11 based on One UI 3.1 update out-of-the-box. The smartphone received Android 12 based on One UI 4.0 early this year. Now, the company kicking off One UI 4.1 update in the US.
