Samsung Galaxy S21 receives March 2022 security update in the US

Samsung already started rolling out the March 2022 security patch for certain devices. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S21 trio joins the party. The update is currently being seeding in the US.

Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra started receiving a new software update with version G99xU1UES5BVC1, the firmware brings the latest March 2022 security patch with 50 vulnerability fixes and improves system stability.

The update is currently released for carrier-unlocked variants in the US including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, C-Spire, Verizon, and Xfinity mobile.

If you own a carrier-unlocked Galaxy S21 in the US then you might receive a notification if not then check it manually by heading toward Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung launched Galaxy S21 back in January last year with Android 11 based One UI 3.0 out-of-the-box, devices in the series already received Android 12 based on One UI 4.0 early this year, the company is preparing to roll out the One UI 4.1 update for these smartphones.
