Samsung’s most affordable Galaxy Note 10 phone now getting February 2022 security update

Samsung is currently rolling out February 2022 security update for its Galaxy devices. And while many of them have received this security patch, there are plenty of them still waiting.

Recently, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series have received this update. And now, the most affordable Galaxy Note 10 device, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, is the next in line to grab Samsung’s latest security patch.

If you own a Galaxy Note 10 Lite, then get ready to install the newest security update on your handset. The February 2022 security patch rollout for Galaxy Note 10 Lite has started and it bears version N770FXXS8FVA2.

Galaxy Note 10 Lite

The update is initially spotted in France and we expect it to expand across other regions in the coming day. Samsung’s February 2022 update fixes a bunch of security and privacy-related vulnerabilities and brings stability to the system.

Besides some sorts of security improvements, the update doesn’t seem to carry any new features or major changes.

If you own this handset, then you’ll receive a notification over the air, however, if not, then you can also manually check for new software updates by navigating to Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
