Samsung rapidly pushing February 2022 security update for its eligible Galaxy devices. Now, the company started releasing a new software update for the Galaxy S21 trio in the US, as usual, it may take a week or two to become more widely available.
Samsung keeps rolling out security patches to keep certain devices updated. Now, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra are receiving a new firmware update, OTA brings February 2022 security patches with dozens of vulnerabilities fixes, and improves system stability.
A new update with the February 2022 security patch is now available for the Galaxy S21 series in the US on the T-Mobile network, the Galaxy S21 (SM-G998U) users can recognize this update with version G998USQS5BVA6.
Once the latest update becomes available for your Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, or Galaxy S21 Ultra in the US, you will receive a notification asking you to download and install it on your device.
If you haven’t received a notification then you can also check for the February 2022 security update manually by heading over to Settings > Software > Download and install.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 series back in the first half of 2021. The devices in this series comes with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. These phones received the One UI 4.0 update based on Android 12 earlier this year.
