Samsung Galaxy A51 getting January 2022 security update

Samsung has done it again, it’s time for January 2022 update ahead of time. Now, Galaxy A51 is receiving a new firmware update to solve some problems and bring security patche dated January 2022. That’s right, Samsung once again introduced a new monthly security patch before the end of the old month.

Samsung started kicking off January 2022 security update for the Galaxy A51 smartphone. The update is appear to be rolling out in Malaysia and Russia. As usual, update will take a week or two to become more widely available.

Samsung Galaxy A51 getting a new software update with a build version A515FXXU5EUL3, the latest firmware brings January 2022 security patch with known bug fixes and system stability.

Once the latest update becomes available for your Galaxy A51, you will receive a notification asking you to download and install it on your device. You can also check for the January 2022 security update manually by heading over to Settings > Software > Download and install.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A51 back in December 2019. The devices comes with One UI 2.5 based on Android 10 out of the box. These phones received the One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 earlier this year and are currently running One UI 3.1.1.
